My name is Meg Hanrahan, and I'm thrilled to be your fourth grade teacher! I actually grew up in the Corona-Norco Unified School District as well, and consider it a huge honor to teach in the same great district in which I was raised. After high school, I graduated from nearby U.C. Riverside where I earned my bachelor's degree with a major in European History and a minor in Political Science.

Following my time at UCR, I aquired my teaching credential from CSU Sacramento, and shortly thereafter, was hired by CNUSD to work at Ben Franklin Elementary School. There, I taught first and third grade, and even had the privilege to work with some of my former teachers and administrators!
|
My passion for learning led me to pursue higher education once again, and in June of 2014 I graduated from Concordia University's Masters program with a credential in Educational Administration. The 2017-18 school year marks my 8th year of teaching at McKinley Elementary and my 11th year of teaching overall!

Fourth grade is such an important time in each child's life, and I love having the opportunity to watch my students grow! Each new concept and skill learned builds the foundation for their future success in school. With that in mind, it is my mission to make each child feel successful as they work through their first year as an upper-grader.

I look forward to working with you to make this a happy and successful school year!
